Paul Barach completed a surgical internship at Boston City Hospital and completed his residency in Anaesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He completed cardiac and critical care fellowships, health services research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed postdoctoral training in Public Health, Economics, Hyperbaric Medicine, Disaster Preparedness, and, in Medical Education and teaching at the Harvard Macy Program. He is Clinical Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Senior Medical Director at the Advisory Board Company and President of J Bara Innovation.
